Tropical Metal Products (TMP) was founded over 40 years ago by Mr. & Mrs. Easton and Isolin McKinley. TMP is a family owned and family -managed industrial enterprise. They bou ght one lot of land in Riverton City, the company's current location and constructed a 4,000 sq. ft. building and began operation on the 1st October, 1968. Tropical Metal Products now occupy an office space of approximately 55,000 sq. ft. extended to both sides of the road. An integral part of its business ethically is TMP’s commitment to people. This ethic guides the company’s relationships with its staff, customers and suppliers and extends to the community of Riverton City in which it has operated since its inception. The three values which continue to play an important role at TMP are: • Quality of TMP products • Excellence in TMP Service • Integrity of TMP People The combined efforts of management and staff have enabled the continued success of the TMP. Today, despite critical diffi culties in the economy and particularly in the manufacturing sector, TMP has begun a new phase. TMP is retooling both the equipment and manufacturing lines to meet the expected increased demand for TMPs products from its planned international sales expansion, to become more efficient and productive as well as to meet international standards.
