She was called to the Bar in November 2008. Her legal career started in the Public Sector, working with the Ministry of Justice as a Clerk of Courts. She was stationed at the Saint Catherine Resident Magistrate’s Court. She remained a Clerk of Courts for approximately four (4) years. As a Clerk of Court she was exposed to areas of the law practice to include Criminal, Civil and Family and there developed her advocacy skills. This has set the foundation for her current position as Partner for the firm HEYWOODBLAKE. HEYWOODBLAKE was formed in May 2012. The firm comprises of two Attorneys-at-Law, Lawton C.
