El Elyon Educational Centre was the brainchild of Keisha Brown, who in 2002 recognised the need for students of various ages to receive individualised help in high school stud ies. Students often become overlooked in larger class sizes at high schools, and consequently become left behind which results in failing grades. By providing students with the individualised attention they need, their grades improve dramatically and success is inevitable. Ms. Brown has 12 years of teaching experience in a plethora of subjects and boasts a success rate of 100%. Her past students have been accepted to prestigious universities, e.g. Duke University in the USA, McGill University in Canada and the University of the West Indies, Mona campus, Jamaica, to name a few. Her style is firm yet compassionate, forceful yet empathetic. Her background in psychology allows her to understand the needs of students, and effectively address the specific needs of each student, particularly those with learning di fficulties, ADHD and other challenges. In addition, her psychological background, allows her to implement teaching techniques and programs which help students reinforce information learned and integrate same into their long-term memory. All students at El Elyon Educational Centre receive excellent tutoring, as our educators are highly qualified. All of our tutors hold a minimum of a Bachelors degree in education. Additionally, not only are our educators qualified, but they are compassionate, patient and committed to excellence. Since 2012, El Elyon Educational Centre has expanded our offerings to include GSAT tutoring and SAT tutoring. We also provide tutoring for adults in CSEC and CAPE courses, as well as preparation for the HEART TRUST and JDF entrance exams. We boast competitive rates in our SAT program and have affordable payment plans available for parents and students that are in need.
